During this period, the historic city center, the Villa Comunale, and the main squares of Salerno are transformed into a breathtaking path of Christmas lights and artistic installations that delight both children and adults.

The Luci d’Artista Salerno 2025/2026 light installations bring fresh and surprising themes, turning the city into an open-air museum. In the Villa Comunale, the Prehistoric Garden features luminous creatures and giant flowers, while the Historic Center becomes a Flower Path, filled with colors and radiant scents. In Piazza Largo Campo, the sea comes alive with The Dance of the Jellyfish, and in Piazza Flavio Gioia, Luca Pannoli’s …and the Stars are Watching celebrates the night sky. At Piazza Sant’Agostino, Pannoli’s giant pencils in Coloring Salerno convey messages of truth, loyalty, and creativity, while Corso Vittorio Emanuele glows with the serene Winter Sea. The path ends at Piazza della Libertà, where The Flowers of the Sea bloom in a contemporary light-and-nature display.

Compared to the previous edition, which featured the fairy-tale Enchanted Garden, celestial UFOs, and The Worlds along Corso Vittorio Emanuele, the 2025/2026 installations bring new inspiration from nature, the sea, and human creativity, offering Salerno an even more magical holiday atmosphere.

The majestic Salerno Christmas Tree, traditionally located in Piazza Portanova, continues to be a highlight of the festival with its impressive size and sparkling lights. Standing around 20 meters tall, with 800 branches and over 70,000 flashing white LEDs, it is one of the main attractions of Luci d’Artista. As every year, it’s the perfect spot for an unforgettable selfie and to experience the magic of Christmas in Salerno.

The New Year's Eve Concert in Salerno 2026 will once again take place in the new Piazza della Libertà, reaffirming itself as one of the most anticipated events to celebrate the arrival of the new year.

For New Year's Eve 2026, the stage at Piazza della Libertà will host Mahmood, one of the most beloved and respected artists in the Italian music scene.
