From 03/12/2022 and until 29/02/2023, it is established the prohibition of parking for tourist buses on the whole municipal territory, with the exception of areas used as parking for buses. For information and assistance with reservations, call the toll-free number 800468110
After the success of the previous editions, the Luci d'Artista event is back and it develops along about 30 km of city streets covered by light installations that create a magical and enchanted atmosphere. In its uniqueness, the event has attracted and will attract millions of visitors who will be given the opportunity to manage themselves in total serenity and safety. Where to park for the Luci d'Artista event in Salerno?
Car Parking Luci d'Artista
For those who reach Salerno for the event Luci d'Artista by car we recommend that you have a look at the map of city parking at the following link: Where to park in Salerno. While for the weekends, where there is a greater flow of tourists, we recommend heading to the parking at the Arechi Stadium, and then reach the city center, with the metro, schedules and fares at this link: Schedules METRO SALERNO.
How to get around the city to discover Luci d'Artista?
Once you get to the "Stazione Centrale" metro station, you can easily walk around the exhibition areas, as the main christmas lights are situated between Corso Vittorio Emanuele and the Villa Comunale.
Camper parking in Salerno for Luci d'Artista
During the period of "Luci d'Artista" in Salerno, only the Marconi area is available for camper parking, subject to availability. For info on prices, see the table below.
Bus Parking Luci d'Artista
For the period Luci d'Artista 2022-2023, that is for the period of interest of the event from 03/12/2022 to 29/01/2023 BUS areas will be set aside for the appropriate parking and it is therefore established the prohibition of parking for tourist buses throughout the municipal territory. Any parking outside the authorized areas will be subject to administrative fines and blocking of the vehicle.
As a result of this provision, in order to gain access to the city, these vehicles must preferably book a bus parking space in the areas identified, displaying on the front window in a clearly visible manner the BUSPASS, visible from the outside and printed only in color in A3 format, which authorizes transit and parking within the area booked (following the route indicated on the booking confirmation voucher).
In case of no reservation for lack of available parking spaces, access to the city will not be possible.
- In order to gain access to the city, these vehicles will have to reserve a parking space in the NON-CONTROLLED areas:
- PASS A: AREA LIGEA, LIGEA - TRAPEZIO
- PASS B: AREA STADIO ARECHI
- PASS H: CARELLA HOTEL
BOOK ONLINE THE PARKING AREA
- Register on the site of SALERNO MOBILITY RESERVATIONS, select the parking area, and after proceeding with the payment ONLY BY CREDIT CARD, you will receive an email with the voucher confirming the purchase.

For Pass A holders: (Bus stop areas named: Ligea, Ligea-Trapezio) passengers will be disembarked, re-embarked and stopped at the indicated area.
For Pass B holders: (Bus stop areas called: Area Stadio Arechi) parking is allowed at the Arechi Stadium. Only unloading and loading of passengers is allowed at the height of Metro M8 (ARECHI). The parking area will be active until 01/01/2023.
Pass H holders: (hotels) For hotels located near the Salerno Central Station, the reference parking lot is the one on Via CARELLA. Should it turn out to be full, tourist buses will be directed to the Via Ligea area (if not saturated). For hotels (East Salerno and West Salerno), which have specific private parking areas to be used for bus parking, only transit is allowed for the boarding and drop off of passengers at the Arechi area (East Salerno) and Via Lista (West Salerno). After passengers have dropped off, buses will have to reach the private parking area.
