pinocchio park

It is commonly called "Parco Pinocchio" for the presence of a bronze statue of Pinocchio, made by Antonio Petti. The main entrance is highlighted by a monumental fountain, a pergola with wisteria, palm trees and a system of artistic lighting.

The Pinocchio Park has an area equipped with games for children. A large amphitheater, built in the center of the green oasis, hosts events and entertainment activities designed for children. In the center was built a small square with a fountain; adjacent to the school "G. Costa" were instead raised a wooden pergola and a new wall for the safety of children.

The company Salerno Solidale manages the park. It organizes real billboards of initiatives on the occasion of Christmas, Carnival, Easter and the summer to cheer Salerno. Moments of celebration and aggregation are programmed even after the arrival of spring and Mother's Day.
